I wanted to freshen up the look of Reaper since it's the main DAW software I've been using for almost a decade now. I didn't realize some of these themes led to improved functionality as well. Here's a link to the Reaper themes database: Here's a link to my favorite one so far, LCS-Mod Short Edition: There's also this gorgeous one, White Tie Imperial, if you're running two or more 1080p monitors. Don't use it if you're not doing that though, as it totally screwed up my view on my single monitor machine. Here's what I wound up going with for now, the LCS-Mod Short Edition and this is what it looks like on one of my sessions. I think this looks badass, and runs perfectly in the newest version of Reaper.

I've wanted to try that White Tie theme for ages, but I'd need a second monitor.:/ Steve - there's.probably. a theme that makes Reaper look and feel more like Pro Tools. Worth a look. I decided to bump this thread to mention my favourite Reaper theme to date. It's based on Pro Tools GUI so I though Steve may find it interesting. It's awesome and has different layouts to adapt to different monitor sizes.

Give it a try! The 'I Logic' theme for Reaper is also awesome (and also donationware) for you Logic users/lovers. There's a 'lite' public version to check it out for free.
